Export marketingWhat lead enrichment is
You have a business card from a trade show or a domain from a form. What does this company do, where is it, how big is it? Enrichment answers those questions so sales knows whom to call first.
- Company enrichment: name, sector, country, size.
- Contact enrichment: an employee's role and contact details.
- Intent enrichment: signals that a company is close to buying.
- AgentFabrica's tool does company enrichment only.
From a domain to a company profile
- 1Enter the domain
For example company.com; https and www are stripped automatically.
- 2Homepage is read
Title, description, headings, emails and social links are collected.
- 3Profile is built
Name, country, sector, size band, summary, founding year and city are filled in.
- 4You check it
Missing fields show as missing; copy the result.
The meta description and sharing tags it reads are how the site describes itself. Google's meta description guide and the Open Graph protocol explain these tags.
Where each field comes from, and how reliable it is
| Field | Where it comes from | Reliability |
|---|---|---|
| Company name, sector, summary | The homepage title, description and headings | As accurate as the site's own description |
| Country and city | Domain extension, page language and text clues | Estimate; left blank without clues |
| Size band | Estimated from page clues: small, mid, large, enterprise | Estimate; not an exact headcount |
| Social accounts | LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube links on the page | Direct, if present |
| Contact address patterns | Addresses on the page, or likely patterns such as info@ and sales@ | A suggestion; verify before sending |
| Founding year | From about-us clues, if any | Left blank otherwise |
Researching buyers for export
- 1Collect the domains of companies from a trade show or directory.
- 2Enrich each domain and check whether sector and size band fit your target.
- 3Prioritise the ones that fit; do not spend first-contact time on the rest.
- 4Check recent activity on their social accounts, then write the first message.
Use the trade show calendar to pick shows and the export score to check readiness. To hand buyer research over completely, see our B2B lead generation service.
Frequently asked questions
What is lead enrichment?
Completing an incomplete prospect record with company information: name, sector, country, size and social accounts. The goal is knowing whom to contact first.
What data does the tool read?
The homepage at the company's domain: title, meta description, headings, emails shown on the page and social links.
Does it find people?
No. It builds a company profile; it does not collect employee names, roles or personal email addresses.
Is the size information exact?
No. It is a band estimated from page clues: small, mid, large or enterprise. It is not an exact headcount.
What if the site does not load?
The tool does not invent a profile. It only suggests likely contact address patterns for the domain and says so.
What if I look up the same company again?
Results are cached for 24 hours; a repeat lookup on the same day returns the same profile.
