You set the plan, the system publishes on time.

Choose the month's content mix, preview the calendar and send it through the approval queue. Due posts go to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn on their own, and comment requests are saved as leads.

Rather hand the job over? In our Social Media Management service we run this tool for you; scope and monthly price are published.

What social media automation is, and how it differs from scheduling

Scheduling puts a finished post at a future time. Automation covers what comes before and after: building the month's plan, choosing the best time, publishing what passed approval and catching incoming comments.

What gets automated and what stays with you
TaskAutomatedWho decides
Monthly content planA calendar is built from your mixYou set the mix and approve it
Posting timeSuggested from your own dataYou schedule it

Which platforms support auto-publishing

The table below is generated from the panel's publishing capability list. When a new publisher is added for a platform, the table updates itself.

FacebookAuto-publishing availableFrom the calendar and the multi-post screen
TikTokAuto-publishing availableFrom the calendar and the multi-post screen

LinkedIn supports text and image posts; video is not published yet.

From plan to published, step by step

A month on autopilot
  1. 1
    Set the mix

Choose how many images, carousels, Stories, Reels, UGC and long videos.

  2. 2
    Preview the month

The calendar uses the same distribution the production run will.

  3. 3
    Create and approve

Content lands in the approval queue; approve in bulk if you like.

  4. 4
    Pick the time

The best-time screen suggests slots from your own data.

  5. 5
    Publish

Due posts are checked every 5 minutes and sent.

  • The approval queue shows a publish-readiness indicator and a brand-rules check for each item.
  • If auto-publishing is off for the brand, a due post moves to "awaiting approval".
  • For posts going to several platforms, each platform's result is shown separately.
  • Edit the month day by day in the content calendar.

Scheduling social media posts for the best time

The best-time screen shows the strongest slot of the week, a heat map of the whole week and the reasoning behind the suggestion. The calculation is based on your brand's own posts.

  • Hours with no data stay blank on the heat map; no made-up score is shown.
  • Confidence is stated based on how many posts the brand has actually published.
  • Without your own data, an industry default is shown under its own heading, marked "not a measurement".
  • Add a suggested slot to the calendar in one click; details are on the smart scheduling page.

Comment-to-DM automation

When someone writes "price" or another keyword you choose under a post, they automatically get a private message. The message comes from the rule's template, and the person is saved as a lead.

  • Rules match by keyword or pattern; the first matching rule runs.
  • Optionally, a short public reply is posted under the comment too.
  • Every message must include a line telling people to reply "STOP" to opt out.
  • Follow new leads all the way to a sale in the CRM.

The risks of automation, and how to start

  1. 1Automate one platform and one content type first; review results after a month.
  2. 2Use the approval queue by hand for a few weeks before turning on auto-publishing.
  3. 3Keep comment-to-DM rules narrow; a broad rule messages unrelated comments too.
  4. 4Rule set-up and Meta's limits are explained step by step on the Instagram DM automation page.
  5. 5Review scheduled posts when there is sensitive news.
  6. 6Track results on the social media analytics screen.

Frequently asked questions

What is social media automation?

Handing repetitive work such as building the monthly plan, publishing on time and catching comment requests to software. You decide what gets published.

Which platforms can it auto-publish to?

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. Google Business Profile posts are published from their own screen. X does not support auto-publishing today.

Can posts go live without approval?

If auto-publishing is on for the brand, due posts are published. If it is off, they go to the approval queue and wait for you.

What happens if a publish fails?

The post is marked failed with the reason. For posts going to several platforms, each platform's result is shown separately.

How is the best posting time chosen?

It is calculated from the results of your brand's own posts. Without enough data, no time is suggested, or an industry default is shown marked "not a measurement".

How many Instagram posts can be auto-published a day?

Meta limits API publishing to 100 posts per account in a rolling 24-hour window. A carousel counts as one post.

How does comment-to-DM work?

Anyone who comments with your keyword gets a private message from your template and is saved as a lead. Meta allows one message per comment, within 7 days of the comment.

How is this different from Hootsuite or Buffer?

Planning and publishing are common to all of them. AgentFabrica adds content creation, an approval queue and comment lead capture in the same panel. See the Hootsuite alternative page for a full comparison.
