Marketplace ads management that decides per product, against margin
Marketplace ads management is often judged by ACoS alone, and a healthy ACoS can still hide a product that loses money once fees, shipping and returns are counted. We decide ad spend product by product, read ad cost together with margin, and keep ads off products where the margin cannot carry a click. Today this runs on Trendyol and Hepsiburada seller accounts in Türkiye; Amazon connects in beta for listings only, without Amazon Ads. Your seller account stays yours and the management fee is in the table on this page. AI works out which products can carry ads from per-product margin, and a specialist makes the call.
- AI agents prepare, a specialist approves
- Price published on the page
- Accounts stay in your name
What Marketplace & Catalogue Ads delivers every month
- Per-product ad decisions: which products get spend and which do not
- For Trendyol sellers in Türkiye: buybox status tracked; our team reviews the ad decision for products that lost it
- Ad share of revenue (TACoS) read together with margin, never revenue alone
- Catalogue feed checks: missing images/titles caught before they break ads
- The margin impact of a price change is calculated before it goes live, never below your profit floor
- Monthly report: connected ad, social and website data in one report, compared with the previous month, kept in an archive and emailed on the 1st.
ACoS vs TACoS: which number should run your account
ACoS divides ad spend by the sales those ads produced; it tells you whether a campaign pays for itself in isolation. TACoS divides ad spend by total sales, organic included, so it shows how much of the whole business is being bought.
Neither number knows your margin. Amazon's own ACOS guide also works out a good ACOS from profit margin and break-even. That is why we read ad share of revenue next to per-product profit.
- A falling TACoS while ad sales hold steady usually means organic sales are growing alongside the ads.
- A rising TACoS with flat total sales means you are paying for orders you might have had anyway.
- The highest cost per click a product can carry is its margin per sale times its conversion rate; above that, ad sales lose money.
What marketplace ads management covers
Work starts with product selection and moves to ad decisions: lower bids or pause where ad share is high and margin is thin, add budget where margin holds.
| Task | What is done | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Per-product ad decisions | Which products get spend and which do not | Included |
| Buybox tracking | Buybox status tracked on Trendyol; our team reviews the ad decision for products that lost it | Included |
| Ad share and margin | TACoS read together with margin, never revenue alone | Included |
| Catalog checks | Missing images and titles caught before they hurt ads | Included |
| Price and margin | The margin impact of a price change is calculated before it goes live, never below your profit floor | Included |
| Monthly report | Spend, conversions and cost per conversion by campaign | Included |
| Automatic bidding inside the marketplace | The panel does not connect to marketplace ad consoles; a person decides | Out of scope |
| Ad spend | Paid to the marketplace from your own seller account | Not in the fee |
- The margin impact of a price change is calculated before you change it.
- If you need ad images for many products at once, the catalog ads screen produces them; each image uses credits.
- The product catalog scores each product on readiness and price position.
Marketplace ads management in five steps
- 1Connect and cost
Your seller account connects with your own authorization; product costs are recorded.
- 2Product sets
The catalog splits into top sellers, new listings and products with no ads.
- 3Ad decision
Budget goes where margin holds; bids drop or ads pause where it does not.
- 4Review
Buybox position, ad share, stock and catalog gaps are read at your tier's cadence.
- 5Report
The monthly report shows spend, conversions and cost per conversion by campaign.
Product sets are recalculated each time you open them. When order data is missing, the set says so instead of showing zero products, because a missing connection and a weak catalog need different fixes.
Review cadence follows your tier: weekly at Starter, every two days at Growth, daily at Scale. The monthly report is built on our reporting engine.
Product ads, store ads and your listing
Marketplace ads come in two broad forms: ads that push a single product and ads that promote a brand or store. They are measured differently.
| Type | What it promotes | How easy to measure |
|---|---|---|
| Trendyol product ads | A single product | Easy: margin and buybox status are known |
| Trendyol store ads | Your store and brand | Hard: sales are difficult to tie to one product |
| Amazon Sponsored Products | Individual product listings, on a cost-per-click basis | Easy: spend shows per product |
| Amazon Sponsored Brands | Your brand and several products | Built for awareness; harder to tie to one sale |
Amazon describes Sponsored Products as cost-per-click ads that promote individual product listings, with bids and budgets set by the advertiser. We do not connect to Amazon Ads, so Amazon campaigns are not managed in this service today; the definitions are here because ACoS comes from Amazon's own vocabulary.
An ad buys the click; the listing decides the sale. Weak images, a vague title or a price above the category range lower conversion, and every lost conversion makes each click more expensive. If no category median is recorded, price competition is left out of the score rather than estimated.
Where the profit figures come from
Profit is calculated from five items. On Trendyol, where the fee-level breakdown runs today, each one has a clear source:
| Item | Where it is read from |
|---|---|
| Commission | Trendyol settlement records, per barcode |
| Shipping | Trendyol settlement records |
| Returns | Trendyol settlement records |
| Advertising | Recognized separately from settlement line items |
| Product cost | The amount you record per barcode; empty margin if missing |
Why a strong return on ad spend can still hide a loss is covered in high ROAS, no profit.
Which marketplaces work today, by region
We tell you before you buy which marketplace works in which region and what the panel reads there. This is where things stand:
| Marketplace | Region | What works today | Ad decisions in this service |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trendyol | Türkiye | Seller account, listings, orders, fee-level profit, buybox tracking | Yes |
| Hepsiburada | Türkiye | Seller account, listings, orders; profit from the costs you record | Yes |
| Amazon | The Amazon region you authorize | Seller account in beta and listing creation; no order sync | No: we do not connect to Amazon Ads |
| Etsy | International | Seller account and listing creation | No |
| eBay | International | Seller account and inventory read | No |
| bol.com, Zalando, Otto, Kaufland, Allegro, Cdiscount | Europe | Not connected yet; on request | No |
Selling in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK or the US? The setup that works today is your own Shopify store, with search and Shopping campaigns under Google Ads management and Facebook and Instagram campaigns under Meta ads management. European marketplaces stay outside this service until a connection exists.
Your catalog can come from the accounts above or from a Shopify or WooCommerce store; store management explains how connected channels are run together. On Trendyol, the buybox tracker shows your position, the winning price and whether other sellers are on the listing.
Marketplace ads management pricing by tier
The management fee follows your monthly ad spend tier. Ad spend is paid to the marketplace from your own seller account and is not part of these figures.
Prices are computed by the pricing engine and match the scope builder. Billed in US dollars, without Turkish VAT. The first 3 months include a 35% launch discount. Ad spend is not included; it is paid to the ad platform directly from your own account. If your business model needs extra setup, the fee rises by at most 25%; the scope builder gives the exact figure. The Custom tier (Over $30,000 /mo) is planned on request.
- Included: per-product ad decisions, buybox tracking (Trendyol), ad share and margin reading, catalog checks, price position tracking, monthly report.
- Not included: ad spend paid to the marketplace, credits used to produce catalog images, store operations.
Software, in-house or agency: an honest comparison
Bid software is cheap and fast at repetitive changes, but it optimizes the target you give it. An in-house specialist knows your catalog deeply and costs a salary whatever your spend. A marketplace advertising agency brings people across many accounts; ask who actually works on yours. If most of your sales are on Amazon, a specialist Amazon agency fits better today, because we do not connect to Amazon Ads.
| AgentFabrica | Typical agency | Freelancer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Tier table on the page, exact figure in the scope builder | Often a share of ad spend, after a call | Hourly or monthly |
| Decision metric | Per-product margin after fees, shipping and returns | Usually ACoS or ROAS | Depends on the person |
| Who works the account | Rules for the routine, a person for decisions | Ask who is actually assigned | The person you hire |
| Seller account | Yours; the panel connects with your own key | Check access terms | Usually yours |
| Strength | AI reads per-product margin, a specialist decides | Many accounts seen, brand store and creative work | Flexibility and direct contact |
| Reporting | Monthly report by campaign in the panel | Usually a monthly deck | Varies |
We sit between software and an agency: rules and screens do the repetitive reading, a person makes the per-product decision, and the fee is published. If your costs are not recorded yet, recording them helps more than any of the three. To send traffic from outside the marketplace, combine it with Meta ads management.
Questions about Marketplace & Catalogue Ads
How much does marketplace ads management cost?
Our fee depends on your monthly ad spend tier and is listed in the table on this page. Prices are in US dollars, billed without Turkish VAT, and do not include ad spend, which you pay to the marketplace from your own account.
Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?
No running percentage. The fee is set by the spend tier you fall into and stays fixed within that tier.
What is the difference between ACoS and TACoS?
ACoS compares ad spend with ad-driven sales; TACoS compares ad spend with total sales. We read both next to product margin, because neither one shows profit on its own.
Is there a minimum ad spend?
There is no hard minimum on our side. If the fee would be a large share of a small budget, the scope builder warns you before you buy.
Do you guarantee lower ACoS or more sales?
No. Sales also depend on price, stock, reviews and competition. What we commit to is the work: per-product ad decisions, reviews at your tier's cadence and a monthly report.
Do you manage Amazon ads?
Not today. We do not connect to Amazon Ads, and the Amazon connection covers listing creation in beta. The service runs on Trendyol and Hepsiburada seller accounts; on Trendyol the buybox tracker and fee-level cost breakdown are available too.
I sell in Europe. Which service fits?
For a Shopify store selling in Germany, Belgium or elsewhere in Europe, Google Ads management with Shopping campaigns and Meta ads management fit today. European marketplaces are on request and not connected yet, so this service would not cover them.
Do you manage my Amazon ads?
No. We do not connect to Amazon Ads, and the Amazon connection covers listing creation in beta. On Trendyol and Hepsiburada, per-product decisions are made in the panel and bid and budget changes are applied in the marketplace's own advertising screen.
I sell in Germany or Belgium. Is this service for me?
Only if you also sell on Trendyol or Hepsiburada. For a store selling in Europe, the setup that works today is Shopify plus Google Ads, including Shopping campaigns, and Meta ads, each available as a managed service. Marketplaces such as bol.com, Zalando, Otto and Kaufland are on request and not connected yet.
