The stages of a brand deal

A brand deal starts with a pitch, takes shape in negotiation, becomes firm when signed, is completed on delivery and closes with payment. None of this leaves a trace in your inbox; remembering where you are with each brand is left to you.

Brand deal stages
  1. 1
    Pitching

The pitch is saved; “pitch created” is added to its timeline.

  2. 2
    Negotiation

Scope, dates and fee are discussed.

  3. 3
    Signed

The signing date is recorded; the fee joins pending revenue.

  4. 4
    Delivered

Content is delivered; the deal can appear in your media kit.

  5. 5
    Paid

The payment date is recorded; the fee moves to earnings and the revenue trend.

  • The due date is shown on the card, but the screen sends no reminders or notifications.
  • Stages only move forward; there is no button to step back.

Access, and who it suits

The brand deals screen opens with the Affiliate Hub add-on and shows for accounts set up as content creators. See the add-on on the pricing page.

  • Creators who do not know how many pitches are waiting.
  • Creators who want earnings month by month and tidy records at tax time.
  • Micro-influencers tracking product-only and paid work in one place.
