Thousands of products,one queue.
Pick products in your panel, set formats, ratios and variations, and on-brand creative joins a bulk queue. You see how many creatives will come out and each job's status.
Rather hand the job over? In our Marketplace & Catalogue Ads service we run this tool for you; scope and monthly price are published.
Marketplace ads managementWhat catalog ads are, and where this screen fits
Catalog ads, also called dynamic product ads, run from a product data feed instead of one ad per product. Campaigns such as Meta's Advantage+ catalog ads decide which product to show to whom.
Catalog → Ads handles the visual side. For each product it produces creative with your logo and colours, in the ratios you choose, so the catalog campaign has designed assets to work with.
| Dynamic catalog campaign | Catalog → Ads screen | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Picks and shows a product per person | Produces designed creative per product |
| Input | A product feed uploaded to the ad platform | Your active products in the panel |
| Visual | The product image in the catalog | Creative built from the product photo with your brand kit |
| Result | A live campaign | Ready creatives collected in the panel |
What you choose for bulk creative production
The left side of the screen is the recipe. Every choice updates the production summary next to it at once, and the job count that enters the queue comes from the same calculation.
| Setting | Options | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Products to process | Starts at 10, steps of 10 | Up to 10,000 products per job |
| Product selection | By measured signals, catalog order, in stock first, on sale, high margin, newest | High margin only works for products with a cost entered; check margins in the marketplace profitability calculator |
| Platform | Meta, TikTok, Google Display, Pinterest | The platform decides which ratios are available |
| Ratio | 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 | Meta 1:1, 4:5, 9:16 · TikTok 9:16 · Google Display 1:1, 16:9 · Pinterest 4:5 |
| Format | Single product, collection, before and after, testimonial | Collection needs at least 2 product images |
| Variations | 1, 2, 3 or 5 per product | Each variation is rendered with a different seed |
How many creatives you get and how long it takes
The output count is a multiplication: products, formats, ratios and variations multiplied together. Each creative costs 1 credit at the standard tier, so the credit count is the same number.
Values come from the same function as the on-screen production summary. Time assumes 50 parallel workers and 8 seconds per creative as a starting estimate; once production starts it is recalculated from measured speed.
- The time shown before you start is a rough estimate and is labelled as one.
- Once production starts, time remaining is recalculated from creatives finished in the last 5 minutes.
- No speed is shown until at least two creatives have finished; the screen says it is measuring.
- A failed creative may already have used credit; fix the cause and re-run to queue a new job for that product.
Which products are left out
Some of the products you select may not make it into production. The screen shows how many and why before you press the button; fix the gap and those products are included.
| Reason | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Out of stock | The product shows as out of stock | Update stock or remove it from the selection |
| No product image | No main image is set | Add an image; the creative uses it as its reference |
| No price | Price is empty or zero | Enter the price; the ad copy uses it |
| Could not queue | An error occurred while saving the job | Start the run again |
How you follow the queue and the results
- 1Queued
The job is saved with your settings and the product data is frozen at that moment.
- 2Rendering
The product photo is used as reference, with your brand kit and sector layout applied.
- 3Ready
The image is uploaded to permanent storage and shows up among the latest creatives.
- 4Failed
After three attempts it is marked with a reason; reasons are grouped and counted.
The status panel keeps separate counts for queued, rendering, ready, live, paused and failed, and refreshes every 8 seconds. Errors are counted by cause, such as image not found or timeout, instead of raw messages.
Who it suits, and who it does not
- Stores with dozens or thousands of products that cannot get a separate design made for each one.
- If you are deciding whether to take on a new product, check its feasibility score in the Product → Ad pipeline first; this screen is for products you already sell.
- If your products are not in the panel yet, connect your store or add products in the product catalog first.
- For studio-quality photos of a single product, the product photography screen is a better fit.
You can see which plan includes how many credits on the pricing page; the production summary already shows the credit cost before every run.
Frequently asked questions
What are catalog ads?
Ads that run from a product data feed: the ad platform reads the products in your catalog and shows the right one to each person. Catalog → Ads produces the creative for those ads in bulk, one set per product.
How many products can I process at once?
Up to 10,000 products per job. The slider on the screen starts at 10 and moves in steps of 10.
Can I see how many creatives I will get before I start?
Yes. The production summary multiplies products, formats, ratios and variations, and shows total creatives, estimated time and credits above the button.
Are creatives made for out-of-stock products?
No. Products that are out of stock or missing an image or price are left out, and the screen lists them with the reason beforehand.
Which formats are available?
Single product, collection, before and after, and testimonial. Collection needs at least 2 product images, before and after needs the brand's own before and after images, and testimonial needs a real, recorded review. Without that data these two formats are skipped.
Are creatives uploaded to my ad account automatically?
No. This screen produces creative and collects the ready ones in the panel. Campaign setup and budget happen on the ad management side.
How is it different from the Product → Ad pipeline?
The Product → Ad pipeline decides whether one product or niche will sell and is worth advertising. Catalog → Ads produces creative in bulk for products you already sell.
