Work out what's working, then make it yours.

Reads the real posts and metrics of the account you're referencing, works out what's carrying them, and writes UGC video briefs adapted to your brand. If the profile can't be fetched, it says so instead of inventing.

What a UGC brief is, and why this one starts from a reference account

A UGC brief is the short set of instructions a creator films from: what to say, in which order, and how to stop the scroll in the first second. Filling in a blank template is easy, but a template does not tell you which hook actually works.

This tool starts from a working example. It reads the real posts of the account you want to learn from, measures which posts beat that account's own median, and carries that structure over to your product and voice. The result is not a copy but a new brief with its reasoning written out.

  • Hook: what is shown and said in the first 3 seconds.
  • Scene flow and shot list: the shots the creator films, in order.
  • Creator direction: tone of voice, setting and phrases to avoid.
  • Caption and call to action: the text under the post and the step you ask the viewer to take.
  • Why this brief: which pattern worked on the reference account and why it is suggested.

What data is read from the reference account

No AI runs during the analysis step; the numbers are calculated straight from the posts. The screen shows measured values and inferences separately, so you can see which line rests on data and which is interpretation.

Measured, inferred and not read
TypeWhatHow it appears
MeasuredLikes, comments and Reels plays of the last 12 postsAs numbers in the Content DNA panel
MeasuredPosts at 2× or more of the account's own median (up to 3)On the viral board, with a link to each post
InferredRecurring hook patterns and leading formatsLabelled as inference, apart from measurements
Not readFields the provider did not return for that accountNamed in the “not invented” list
Weight in post ranking when the brief is written
Comment10×
Like3×
Play1×

The 12 strongest posts go to the generator. They are ranked by plays + likes × 3 + comments × 10; the weights are defined in the product's code.

From reference to brief in five steps

Reference UGC brief flow
  1. 1
    Enter the account

Type an @username or profile link; add up to two more accounts to compare.

  2. 2
    Profile is read

The last 12 posts and their metrics are fetched and the Content DNA is calculated.

  3. 3
    Review the board

Posts above the median and recurring patterns are shown.

  4. 4
    Choose settings

Pick brief type, platform, count, audience and brand voice.

  5. 5
    Get the briefs

Each brief arrives as a card you can copy or send to production.

The analysis can run 10 times an hour, and each account is a separate data pull; the screen tells you this before fetching. When you compare several accounts, the briefs are written from the posts of the first one.

What is on a brief card, and what happens next

  • Title, format, platform, length in seconds and number of scenes
  • The 3-second hook and the “why this brief” reasoning
  • Scene flow, shot list and creator direction
  • Caption, call to action and a sound note

Copy a card in one click and send it to your creator, or use “send to Production Factory” to move the text into the prompt field of the content production screen. To polish the caption further, use caption generation.

Working with creators means disclosing the ad

If you give the brief to a creator and pay them in money, product or any other perk, the post has to make the relationship obvious. The FTC's Disclosures 101 for social media influencers explains what counts as a material connection and what a clear disclosure looks like.

  • Write where the disclosure sits into the brief's call to action.
  • Agree how long and where the video may be reused in ads.
  • If you work with Turkish creators, local rules also require wording such as “reklam” or “iş birliği”.

Who it suits

  • Brands whose competitor's videos perform while their own do not.
  • Agencies that want to show a client, with data, why a format is recommended.
  • Creators who want their next hook built on a measured example rather than a guess.

If you would rather hand off finding creators, briefing them and closing the deal, see our influencer marketing agency service. If you want the filming and editing done too, our content creation service runs this tool for you.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the data come from?

From the last 12 public posts of the Instagram account you enter: likes, comments and Reels plays. Measured values and inferences are labelled separately on screen.

What happens if the profile cannot be fetched?

The screen says the profile could not be fetched and no brief is written. If the data provider is not connected, that is stated too; no guessed output is shown.

Does it copy the competitor's video?

No. It extracts the structure of the posts that beat the median (hook, format, storytelling) and writes a new brief with your product, audience and brand voice.

Can I compare several accounts?

Up to three accounts can be analysed side by side. The briefs are written from the posts of the first account.

How many briefs can I generate?

You can choose 3, 4, 5 or 8 briefs per run. Profile analysis can run 10 times an hour.

Which language are the briefs in?

Turkish. For a creator who films in another language, run the brief through the multilingual translation tool first.

Do UGC creators have to disclose the ad?

Yes, whenever they receive money, free product or another benefit. The FTC asks for a disclosure that is hard to miss and easy to understand.
