Keep designing in Canva.Copy, approval and publishing live here.

Canva makes the visual; writing the caption, getting sign-off, planning the month and publishing to each network are separate jobs. AgentFabrica runs them in one panel and uses your Canva designs too.

What Canva does well, and where it stops

Canva's drag-and-drop editor and templates make one-off design easy. For posters, decks and print it is still one of the most practical tools around.

On social media, design is only one piece of the job. Writing the caption, getting sign-off, planning the month, picking the time and publishing to each network are separate tasks. This page is not about dropping Canva; it is about who does those tasks.

  • Posters, decks, invitations and print: where Canva is strong.
  • On-brand captions: AgentFabrica's caption generator writes for each platform and tone.
  • Checks before publishing: on the post approval screen you approve, ask for a revision or reject.
  • The month's plan and publishing: posts go onto the calendar and out to connected accounts.

From design to published: the path a post takes

It starts with a topic. Production uses the brand details you saved (products, audience, tone of voice), and the result lands on the approval screen.

The path of a content pack
  1. 1
    Set up the brand

Products, audience and tone are entered once; logo, colours and fonts go into the library.

  2. 2
    Give a topic

Choose the topic, networks and number of posts; images are optional.

  3. 3
    Pack is produced

Each post gets three copy options and, if you asked, an image.

  4. 4
    You approve

Approve, request a revision or reject; a revision needs a note.

  5. 5
    It is scheduled

Approved posts go onto the calendar and publish to the connected account.

To plan a whole month, set the mix on the content calendar screen, preview the month and approve it. Smart Scheduling suggests posting times, based first on your own account's measurements.

Using your Canva designs in AgentFabrica

The Brand Library is where the two tools meet. Logo, colours, fonts and images live there, and production uses them as brand context.

  1. 1Use "Add asset" in the library to upload a file or add a link.
  2. 2Paste a Canva, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Figma share link; the file is not copied to our servers, only the link is kept.
  3. 3Save brand colours and fonts with a name and value.
  4. 4If your brand guide is a PDF, upload it; its rules are read out and listed for you to review.

Five questions to ask when choosing a Canva alternative

  1. 1Is your job design, or shipping regular posts every week?
  2. 2Does the tool write the copy too, or only make images?
  3. 3Does someone need to approve posts first, and can they leave a revision note?
  4. 4On which networks does direct publishing actually work? Ask about the publisher, not the logo list.
  5. 5What is the price for how many posts and how many brands?

If you are after a scheduling tool, our Hootsuite alternative page asks the same questions on the scheduling side.

Who it suits, and who it does not

  • Brands and agencies shipping regular posts to several networks every week.
  • Small teams that want copy, approval and the plan on one screen.
  • If your work is print, decks or one-off design, Canva alone is the better choice.

Frequently asked questions

Can AgentFabrica replace Canva?

Not as a design editor. AgentFabrica covers what comes after the design: copy, approval, the monthly plan and publishing. If you design posters or decks, stay with Canva.

Can I use my Canva designs in AgentFabrica?

Yes. Upload the file to the Brand Library or add the Canva share link. With a link, the file is not copied to our servers; only the link is stored.

Which networks can it publish to directly?

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Publishing to X is not available yet. On LinkedIn, text and images publish; video does not.

Does it write the copy too?

Yes. The caption generator writes for each platform and your brand tone. In Content Factory every post comes with three copy options.

Can I see posts before they go live?

Yes. Generated posts land on the approval screen first. You can approve, request a revision with a note, or reject. Approved posts are added to the calendar.

Can I use it for free?

The full panel is free with no time limit: brand, accounts, reports. Allowance: 10 captions a month, 2 images a month, 1 videos a month, 1 brand, 1 user. Image generation and scheduling open with the Starter plan.

Is there a plan for agencies with many brands?

The Enterprise plan covers 10 brands and adds client approval and white label. Compare all plans on the pricing page.
