Competitive intelligence services sized for a business without an analyst team
Most competitive intelligence services are built for large companies: a scoping call, a custom engagement, a price you learn at the end. This one is built for the business that wants to know what three to ten competitors did this month. Their live ads, their search positions and their price moves are measured on a schedule, so every finding can be compared with the previous one. AI scans competitor ads, prices and content every week, and an analyst explains what changed.
- AI agents prepare, a specialist approves
- Price published on the page
- Accounts stay in your name
What Competitor & Market Intelligence delivers every month
- Competitors' live Meta ads listed with hook, call to action and offer extracted
- Who ranks for which keyword is measured
- Prices tracked: each watched product's price compared with the previous measurement
- Advertiser and ad counts in your niche compared with the previous scan, with increases reported
- Opportunity list: topics and product angles competitors have not covered
- Monthly report: connected ad, social and website data in one report, compared with the previous month, kept in an archive and emailed on the 1st.
Competitor analysis once versus competitor monitoring
A one-time competitor analysis is a snapshot. It answers who the competitors are and how they position themselves, and it is accurate on the day it is delivered.
A month later a competitor has a new offer, a new ad angle or a new price, and the snapshot does not know. Monitoring answers a different question: what changed.
- 1Separate direct rivals from indirect ones competing for the same budget.
- 2Take the same measurements for each: live ads, search position, price, offer language.
- 3Store the first measurement; change can only be read from the second one.
- 4Keep a separate list of topics and products nobody covers.
- 5Write your move next to every finding; a finding without a move is trivia.
What the service covers and what it does not
Scope is limited to what the panel can actually read today. Where data cannot be read, no estimate is invented.
| Task | Status |
|---|---|
| Listing competitors' live ads and extracting their messaging | Included |
| Measuring who ranks for which keyword | Included |
| Tracking price position, price drop and demand spike signals | Included |
| Catching new entrants and new campaigns on the next scan | Included |
| Opportunity list and monthly report | Included |
| Estimating a competitor's ad spend or reach | Out of scope: Meta does not publish it for commercial ads |
| Collecting Google Search ad copy | Out of scope: the panel does not read this source |
| Seller counts on marketplaces | Out of scope: connected sources do not return it |
| Backlink profile audits | Out of scope |
What data competitive intelligence runs on
Each source answers one question and none gives the full picture alone. The table puts what each source measures next to what it cannot.
| Source | Measured | Not measured |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Ad Library | Ad text, platform, start date, whether still live | Reach, spend, media type |
| Multi-platform ad archive (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X) | Up to 60 ads per scan: format, message angle, offer language, run length, brand share | Spend |
| Search results | Top 10 organic results and related searches for a chosen country and language | Google Search ad copy |
| Demand and trend data | How much a topic is searched and which searches are rising | Exact daily search counts |
| AI answers | Which brands are named when questions about your topic are asked | The exact answer every user gets |
| Marketplace listings | Price and price change | Seller count |
Search results are not the same for everyone. Google uses information such as the user's location, language and device to decide relevance, so every scorecard is measured for a chosen country and language.
How competitor monitoring runs
- 1Competitor list
Direct and indirect rivals are separated; the count sets your tier.
- 2Baseline
Market scorecard, ad library scan and price round are taken and stored.
- 3Repeat scans
Our team reruns the same measurements from the panel at your tier's cadence; changes appear on their own line.
- 4Opportunity list
Open keywords, unused angles and empty price bands are listed with a suggested move.
- 5Monthly report
Competitor moves and your response sit in one report.
Review cadence follows your tier: weekly at Starter, every two days at Growth, daily at Scale. How the scorecard, ad and price screens fit together is described on the market intelligence page.
How competitor ads are tracked
The first source is Meta's public Ad Library. In Meta's own words, it contains all active ads running across Meta technologies.
Competitor ads are filtered by country, status, date window and platform. An ad that keeps running for months is the one the competitor believes is working.
The second source is an ad archive covering Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X. A niche radar scan reads up to 60 ads at a time, and a second scan of the same niche shows what changed on its own line.
A competitor analysis example: what an ad card records
Most guides illustrate competitor analysis with an invented company. Here is what the panel actually fills in for a single competitor ad.
| Field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Hook type | Whether the opening leads with a problem, a result, social proof or price |
| Call to action | What the ad asks the reader to do |
| Offer | Whether it carries a discount, gift or similar offer |
| Run length | Days since the ad started and whether it is still live |
| Platform | Which Meta platforms the ad runs on |
The creative score is built from four measurable dimensions. There is no visual quality score, because the image or video itself does not come through the library, and scoring a dimension we cannot see would be invented.
Across cards, the competitor's pattern emerges: the hook type it favors, how often it runs offers and its average run length. Other ad measurements are on the ad intelligence page.
Who leads in search results and AI answers
The market scorecard answers several questions per scan for one topic and one country: how much demand there is, who holds the top ten organic results, which related searches are rising and what ad formats competitors use.
The same scan asks an AI model questions about your topic and counts which brands appear in the answer. Being missing while a competitor is named is a separate problem from a ranking gap.
- A source that could not be measured is named and labeled as not measured.
- Percentage change only appears when an earlier measurement exists.
- Check your own pages with the free SEO analysis tool.
- Summarize a competitor's article or landing page with the research summary tool.
Closing a search gap takes content and technical work, which belongs to our SEO service. Competitor analysis shows which topics are left open.
Price position, new entrants and the opportunity list
Price tracking is a time series. To say a price dropped in seven days, a seven-day-old price must already be stored.
- Each measurement round stores a snapshot; on the first round percentages are empty and the screen says why.
- A price drop of 5% or more adds a price line to the day's signals.
- A demand jump of 25% or more raises a demand signal.
- Alert thresholds can be saved per product.
How the watchlist works is on the product watchlist page. The opportunity list collects searched keywords with no competitor ads, unused message angles and empty price bands.
Using findings in your own ads
Competitor findings usually end up in your own ads: a sharper offer, an angle nobody uses. If you name a competitor to compare, the claim has to be provable.
- If you quote a competitor's price, keep the date you measured it; prices move.
- Do not copy a competitor's ad; take the angle and write your own copy.
- In the US, the FTC's comparative advertising policy expects comparisons to be truthful and not deceptive.
Running the ads is a separate service. If you want findings to turn into campaigns, pair this with Facebook ads management.
Competitive intelligence pricing
The only pricing driver is how many competitors are tracked regularly. The steps follow how the work changes: 3 for direct rivals, 10 for a category, 25 for a market and 60 for several markets or languages.
Prices are computed by the pricing engine and match the scope builder. Billed in US dollars, without Turkish VAT. The first 3 months include a 35% launch discount. The Custom tier (Over 60 competitors) is planned on request.
- Included: market scorecard, ad library and niche scans, price rounds, opportunity list, monthly report.
- Not included: running ads or ad spend, SEO or content execution, competitor spend estimates.
AgentFabrica, a consultancy or a freelancer
All three can work; which fits depends on whether the question is asked once or every week.
| AgentFabrica | Typical agency | Freelancer | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deliverable | Scheduled measurements in a panel | Custom study, often one-off | Spreadsheet or slide deck |
| Tracking change | Every scan stored and compared | New engagement | Only if repeated by hand |
| Price | Tier by competitors tracked, table on the page | Quoted after scoping | Hourly or per project |
| Data sources | Public ad libraries, search results, listings | Ask in the contract | Depends on their tools |
| Strength | AI scans weekly, an analyst explains what moved | Deep research and industry experts | Fast, flexible one-off work |
| Reporting | Monthly report in the panel | Final presentation | Varies |
For due diligence, M&A or deep industry research with expert interviews, a consultancy is the better fit. For a one-off SEO competitor audit, a freelancer is fast.
For the weekly decisions a marketing team makes, this service gives stored, comparable measurements. To track what people say about competitors too, online reputation management runs in the same panel. Results come together monthly on our reporting engine.
Questions about Competitor & Market Intelligence
How much do competitive intelligence services cost?
Our fee depends on how many competitors are tracked and is listed in the table on this page. Prices are in US dollars, billed without Turkish VAT. Above 60 competitors the Custom tier is quoted on request.
Is competitive intelligence legal and ethical?
We only use public sources: ad libraries, search results and marketplace listings. We do not access private accounts, internal documents or personal data, and we do not contact competitors under false pretenses.
Can you show a competitor's ad spend?
No. Meta does not publish spend or reach for commercial ads in its Ad Library, so we do not show that number. We show run length, how many variations were tested and how the messaging changed.
How many competitors should I track?
Three to five direct competitors is a sensible start for most businesses. Grow the number if new brands enter your category often or you sell in several countries.
How is this different from a competitor analysis report?
A report is a snapshot. Here the same measurements are repeated and stored, so you see what changed between scans, not only how things looked on one day.
Can I buy competitive intelligence on its own?
Yes. Every service can be bought alone, and adding ad management or reputation monitoring applies a bundle discount.
Which tools are used for competitive intelligence?
This service reads the Meta Ad Library, a multi-platform ad archive, search results, demand and trend data, AI answers and marketplace listings together. Everything lands in one scorecard and a few panel screens, so you do not have to run separate tools.
Do you see competitors' Google ads?
Google Search ad copy is not read by the panel today. Organic rankings are measured, and YouTube ads enter niche scans through the multi-platform ad archive.
